On a calm night in December 2023, four boats carrying refugees set out from Tripoli, Lebanon, toward Cyprus. Three arrived safely, but one mysteriously disappeared after being seen near the port, escorted by the coast guard.

Over 80 passengers vanished without a trace. Months later, only one body was identified through DNA testing, linked to a relative.
Among the lost was a young man, the last hope for his family, who had been waiting for him in Cyprus to start together a new life. He disappeared after enduring years of hardship in a war torn country.

Despite the efforts of various organizations, the fate of the missing boat remains unknown. Some claimed to have reached the phones of the missing passengers, only to be met with blackmail from unknown individuals.

To this day, desperate families continue searching for any sign of their loved ones. Even the discovery of a floating body would offer a sliver of peace to a grieving parent.
